We Love Pop Magazine

The genre of Music Magazine i have decided on is a pop magazine such as "We <3 Pop"

Pop music is associated with the charts which means there is a wider variety of different artists. The variety of different music means there is a younger female demographic of ages from 11-16.

 

The colours in "We Love Pop" are very energetic and happy colours, which make readers want to pick it up and read it. the colour scene is mainly pink and blue but then there is also a varitety of different colours on the cover.

The front page of the magazine is always full of latest celebrity news and gossip etc. There always seems to be a large main picture of a popular singer or group which has recetly got a number 1 single/album.

The Main image on the cover is placed over the title of the magazine, this could suggest that the magazine is so well know that the whole title doesnt need to be shown as much.
The Genre of the magazine is rock, this is shown by the dark colours of the text....Red Black And White. It is also shown by the images used.
There also alot of other band names placed on the cover which draws the readers into buying it if they like that particular band or artist.

The main colour scheme in most of vibes magazines is red white and black. They are all very contrasting colours as they all stand out from eachother.

The title of the magazine is aranged so that it is placed behind the main picture, this could show the importance of him.

The target audience of Vibe are aged 16-25 years of age and people that enjoy hip hop and RnB

The text is mainly arranged around the main image of the
cover. Having the text placed areound the image instead of overlapping it makes it stand out from the picture and makes it easier for the readers to read the main headlines etc.
